MONSTER IN THE HALLS
WIA Mentorship Program
During WIA's Fall 2023 Mentorship program, our team of 10 artists completed the pre-vis stage for an animation script that I wrote, about a struggling student who longs for something more extraordinary than school – and the catalyst arrives as a vicious monster! My primary roles for this project were lead writer, co-producer, and production designer, but I also contributed the following animatic sequences and character concepts.
Storyboard Animatics
Scene 1 – The main character, Xavier, prepares to deliver the final blow, but they're met with an unexpected new adversary.
Scene 2 – Xavier leaves their exam in frustration, but finds a silver lining right around the corner.

Visual Development
Character concepts, color explorations, and style frames for Creative Collective Studio's animated short, "Rain," directed by Darpan Patel. The film stars a young girl who uses her unique gift to bring happiness to her hometown in rural Italy.

Intro Sequence Animatic
Concept animatic for a new series title sequence, featuring the titular Mista Pat driving his low-rider down a road of Los Angeles landmarks.

Full storyboard for an episode of the animated web series, in which Mista Pat teaches the viewers about his 10 favorite plants.

SONGBIRDS
Visual Development
Character designs, props, and promotional art for The DreamArc Company's animated short, "Songbirds." The film, written and directed by Paul Marano, stars two birds who form an unlikely alliance towards a common park nuisance.
